what if I don't need the whole time frame provided in the session?

Believe it or not, we don't need the full session to get a full gallery of beautiful images. The full hour is to account for kids who are a little less than thrilled to have their picture taken, multiple outfit changes or even multiple locations depending on where we meet. True story: I captured a beautiful, comprehensive gallery for a family in under 30 minutes. Shots of the kids on their own, each kid with mom, family group shots, and action shots of the kids together.

how much is your booking fee?
​
The initial payment to secure your session is 50% of your session cost, which is due prior to the session.

what types of payment do you accept?
​
I accept Venmo or PayPal for my booking fee. If you'd like to pay with cash or check at your session for your remaining balance, that is an option.

what if I want to purchase wall art or prints? can I do that through you?
​
I love helping families order prints, wall art and photo gifts to showcase their images. I have local vendors whose quality is bar none. We can talk through options when I send over your final gallery - just let me know that's something you're interested in during our discussions pre-session.

i am currently expecting. when is the best time to book a newborn session?
​
The best time to book to ensure I can fit you in would be during the end of your second/beginning of your third trimester. Even if you had your baby, though, I can do my best to accommodate you. I always encourage booking sooner rather than later, though.

if I don't now exactly when I'll have my baby, how will I know when to book my session?
​
I plan my newborn sessions by booking out a certain number of spots a month to allow for flexibility around your due date. So when you booking your spot with me, you are securing a space for that month (or the following month) of the total available newborn spots I have allotted.

do you just do newborns, kids and families? are you willing to do other types of photography?
​
I am drawn to newborns, kids and families, but I love broadening my artistic capabilities. I've worked with seniors graduating high school, couples and even captured weddings and baptisms. Just ask! I'd love to help capture your special moments.

where are you located and how far will you travel?
​
I am located north of Pittsburgh in Wexford, PA. I travel just about anywhere in the Greater Pittsburgh area, but over 15 miles from Wexford in any direction may involve a little more discussion!

when are you typically available?
​
Because I work full-time, I am available to schedule sessions in the evening and on weekends. Some of my favorite sessions are during golden hour in the evening... it's magical! On weekends, I primarily schedule in the mornings (between 9-11am) or evenings (5-7pm) for outdoor sessions to allow for the best lighting. If we are doing an indoor session in my studio, it can be anytime.

what happens if we have to reschedule or cancel?
​
Rest assured, we will communicate frequently leading up to the session, including the day of the session. If we are shooting outside and the weather is questionable, we will reschedule around your availability. In most cases, I am able to make things work. If we are shooting in studio and you need to cancel for any reason, you can do that, but your booking fee is non-refundable. Ultimately, my goal is to make things work so that we can reschedule and get the session done!
